I came to Las Vegas 19 years ago, fresh out of physical therapy school, and have been practicing outpatient orthopedic physical therapy since. My fascination with the body, movement, and human performance led me to studying exercise science at the University of Tennessee, where I received my Bachelors in Exercise Science. Followed by the honor of earning my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.
My motivation for starting my mobile physical therapy/movement practice stems from my overwhelming desire to help people level up and succeed. The mobile fee for service model removes the restraints and constrictions of the traditional physical therapy practice that requires practitioners to see a high volume of clients without the individualized attention that you deserve. If you have ever been frustrated with your previous physical therapy experiences, because you didn't get the results that you expected, you only saw your physical therapist for 10 minutes a visit, and you spent your visit left alone to your own devices with a repetitive, non nuanced exercise program, then you may consider the mobile option.
I have experience treating a wide variety of clients from young and old, including all sports covering the spectrum of weekend warriors, and amateur to professional athletes from the UFC, NFL, NHL, NBA, and PGA. Combat athletes are some of my favorite clients. I've been involved martial arts most of my adult life, so I know how tough it can be to stay on the mats.
I specialize in treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction ranging from acute injuries to post operative care. Injury prevention and enhancing performance capacity are strong core values. Building relationships and helping people succeed in achieving their short term and long term goals is the most rewarding work. I consider myself very fortunate to do what I love and provide what I find to be a meaningful service that changes lives everyday.
